AWM were proudly engaged by FDC Group for Guide Dogs NSW to provide workstations, tables, seating, loose furniture and all the joinery throughout their new North Sydney office.
Working under project superintendents CR Commercial Property Group (CRCPG), AWM worked closely with the design team at Wool+Hay to develop, manufacture and install the complete suite of commercial furniture and joinery to the project.
The project posed some unique challenges to accommodate for visually impaired occupants and their guide dogs, with a host of accessibility and technology integrations being required. Along with the typical kitchen, numerous dog refresh points and nooks were spread throughout the fitout.
Workstations featured our GECA certified Delta and Pinnacle electric workstation systems, utilising Woven Image Terrain Echopanel for acoustic partitions. These GreenTag Certified Terrain panels are made from 50% flax, a waste product from linen production, offering a unique texture and appearance with environmental and acoustic benefit.
Bespoke joinery to the kitchens and breakout areas is complemented by detailed furniture items including our Australian Made Disc Base tables, featuring a unique edge detail to the top. Custom upholstered banquette seating offers the perfect retreat for small groups to relax and engage.
