Product & Period of Warranty
Warranty Claims Process
All warranty claims must be communicated directly to AWM by following the procedure outlined in this document.
This warranty only extends to the original purchases. Any misuse, abuse, or modification to the original product voids the warranty. AWM does not warrant the performance of the product when used in combination with anything other than original AWM products or approved third party products. Any product, part, or component must have been installed and maintained by AWM.
Claims for repairs or replacement can be submitted via phone during office hours at 1300 475 217, or by email at service@awm.net.au. A member of the Service Department will promptly be in contact to assess the issue and determine the appropriate action to be taken. If required the Service Department will arrange for a service technician to come to site for further assessment of the issue, to repair the issue on-site, or to deliver and install replacement parts or product. Products must be serviced by an authorised AWM technician. Unauthorised servicing immediately renders any warranty null and void.

Warranty Terms & Conditions
This warranty applies to:
- The original owner/purchaser of the product only.
- Structural and operational parts.
- Normal use of product in a general office/administration environment.
This warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by a carrier other than Australian Workstation Manufacturers.
- Normal wear and tear, user abuse or acts or omissions of parties other than Australian Workstation Manufacturers (including user modification).
- Third party fabrics, upholstery, foams, laminated board, or other third party material applied to products.
- Products not installed by or under the auspices of a certified dealer of Australian Workstation Manufacturers.
- Dramatic temperature variations or exposure to unusual conditions.
- Changes in surface finishes, including colourfastness due to ageing or exposure to light. It is the nature of veneer products to have variations in the grain pattern and wood colour. Any surface finish may be affected by exposure to sunlight and other elements which are part of the ageing process. Their material variation are not covered by this warranty.
- Claims for any other associated costs from the end user, including claims for reimbursement for any work carried out by an unauthorised third party.
- Natural variations occuring in wood and leather shall not be considered defects and Australian Workstation Manufacturers does not guarantee the colourfastness or matching of the colour, grains or textures, or surface hardness of such materials.
- Disassembly, relocation, and re-assembly by others.
Parts used to repair a product under warranty are covered to the end date of the original warranty period only. AWM makes no implied warranties other than those implied by the Trade Practice Act and NSW Fair Trading Laws. In no event will AWM be liable for consequential, indirect or incidental damages resulting from any cause. The warranty gives you specific legal rights including but not limited to State and Federal Government regulations. These rights may vary from State to State.
Our company commitment extends to operating in accordance with the Australian Standard AS/NZ ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management System Requirements and Australian Standard AS/NZ ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System Requirements.
Warranty Period
10 Years
Workstations & Tables
AWM warrants its workstations and tables are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 10 Years from the date of delivery. During the applicable warranty period, AWM will repair or replace (at its discretion) any product, part, or component covered by this warranty which falls under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship with a comparable product.
Excluded: Electrical Component, USB/Wireless Charger
Orio Screen System
AWM warrants its Orio Screen are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery. During the applicable warranty period, AWM will repair or replace (at its discretion) any product, part, or component covered by this warranty which falls under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship with a comparable product. Third party upholstery materials (including fabric, backing foams, leather, and vinyl) and other third-party materials applied to Orio Screens are covered as per individual manufacturer’s warranties. AWM does not warrant product failure resulting from third party materials applied to products.
5 Years
Drum+Base System
AWM warrants its Drum+Base Range free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery. During the applicable warranty period, AWM will repair or replace (at its discretion) any product, part, or component covered by this warranty which falls under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship with a comparable product.
Excluded: Electrical Component, USB/Wireless Charger
Metal Storage
AWM warrants its metal storage products free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery. During the applicable warranty period, AWM will repair or replace (at its discretion) any product, part, or component covered by this warranty which falls under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship with comparable product. Mechanical, battery, and hardwired locks are covered as per individual manufacturer’s warranty
Monitor Arm: MA Monitor Arm (exclusively)
AWM warrants its MA Monitor Arms are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery. During the applicable warranty period, AWM will repair or replace (at its discretion) any part or component covered by this warranty which falls under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship with a comparable product. Third party monitor products are covered in accordance with the individual manufacturer’s warranty and conditions.
3 Years
Joinery & AWM Locker
AWM warrants its joinery and lockers are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of delivery. During the applicable warranty period, AWM will repair or replace (at its discretion) any product, part, or component covered by this warranty which falls under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship with a comparable product. Mechanical, battery, and hardwired locks are covered as per individual manufacturer’s warranty.
2 Years
Electrical Components
AWM warrants its electrical components free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery. During the applicable warranty period, AWM will repair or replace (at its discretion) any product, part, or component covered by this warranty which falls under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship with a comparable product. Third party electrical components are covered in accordance with the individual manufacturer’s warranty and conditions.
Excluded: USB/Wireless Charger (12 Months Warranty)
Others
Loose Furniture & Task Chairs
AWM warrants the products manufactured and supplied against failure due to defective materials or workmanship to the original purchaser only during the applicable warranty period as set out for each product per sales order.
