Tight Deadline & Custom Design
Weatherzone, a leading player in the weather technology industry, approached IPDA with a clear vision: to transform their new North Sydney office into a workspace that would inspire their team.
However, there was a catch. They needed it done in just four weeks. What made this challenge even more intriguing was the requirement for custom-made elements, particularly the kitchen.
Solution
Bringing Nature Indoors
To breathe life into the office and infuse it with a touch of sophistication, Builder IPDA introduced a custom kitchen and island bench. These bespoke pieces were finished in Polytec Oak Woodmatt and Ferro Matt, which not only added a sleek and sophisticated feel to the workspace but also played a vital role in making the vibrant mural of Australian flora and fauna pop. The careful selection of finishes on the custom kitchen design complemented the mural, creating a seamless and visually captivating connection between the two elements. This artistic synergy not only connected the office to its Australian roots but also added a refreshing natural element to the space, making it feel more welcoming and invigorating.
A foldable design was initially proposed as it could be moved out of the breakout area when not in use. However, the client ultimately opted for a fixed ping pong table with a more permanent presence after seeing how well AWM’s rendered design and suggested finishes fit in with the space and aesthetic.

To complete the transformation, Builder IPDA introduced our fixed workstations and collaborative meeting rooms, complimented by a selection of Belle task chairs and Positano meeting chairs. These additions were carefully chosen to align with the tech company’s vision of a modern and sophisticated workspace. The Belle task chairs, with their ergonomic design, offered comfort and functionality, while the Positano meeting chairs added a touch of elegance to the collaborative meeting rooms
