Challenge
Transforming 30 Workplaces
AWM faced the significant challenge of coordinating and executing office fitouts for The Benevolent Society in nearly 30 locations across regional New South Wales, each with its unique requirements and logistical complexities. From Albury to Coolangatta and from Bathurst to Wagga Wagga, the project encompassed a diverse range of environments and spaces. The undertaking involved everything from feasibility assessments, manufacture, transport, construction, to walk-through, and ensuring the seamless operation of each facility. The diversity of locations, coupled with the need for consistent design and functionality, posed a substantial logistical challenge.
Solution
Designing Excellence
By collaborating closely with Built, we ensured a unified and streamlined approach to the fitouts. This included manufacturing a variety of workstations, including height-adjustable and fixed-height options, screens, accessories, and furniture to cater to the specific needs of each location, including the head office in Glebe. To address the logistical complexities of the regional spread, we implemented a structured approach that involved breaking the project into four separate zones, with dedicated project managers overseeing multiple locations within each zone. This strategy allowed for efficient coordination, ensuring that the fitouts were completed effectively and on schedule. The successful execution of the initial stage of projects, including the construction of The Benevolent Society’s 2400m² Head Office in Glebe, further demonstrated our ability to provide comprehensive solutions for complex, multifaceted projects, meeting the diverse needs of the client across various locations.
