Thales, Sydney Olympic Park
The Thales Sydney Olympic Park project featured a combination of AWM workstation systems customised to the client’s specific requirements. Our monorail system which enabled a number of accessories to be fitted on the central track customised onto our Alto leg frames with both fixed and adjustable height options with some featuring a custom made stainless steel foot rail. The team worked closely with designers at Woods Bagot to produce intricate joinery and bespoke furniture pieces exclusive to Property NSW Government’s workplace. Our talented machinists and joiners were able to replicate the designer’s creative concepts, producing organic shaped banquet seating and storage featuring built in planters, services and technology.
Challenge
Professional & Precise
The aim was to design a workspace that not only provided functionality but also maintained a professional and aesthetically pleasing appearance, with a well-coordinated colour palette. The project demanded precise attention to detail and customisation to ensure the space could cater to a variety of work scenarios while aligning with Thales’ vision. This required the integration of AWM workstation systems that could adapt to various needs, from sit-to-stand workstations to quiet area setups.
Solution
Intricate & Integrated
We incorporated our versatile Alto workstation system, featuring customisations such as monorail systems and stainless steel footrails, onto Alto leg frames. The Alto sit-to-stand workstations were strategically placed on the perimeter, equipped with acoustic wrap-around Orio screens, Elsafe desktop power rails, and Atdec monitor arms, creating a functional and peaceful area for focused work.
