Boral Limited’s new Queensland corporate office presented a unique challenge in creating a contemporary workspace in the picturesque city of Milton, Brisbane, overlooking the Brisbane River. The aim was to design an open-plan office with ample shared and informal spaces, fostering a collaborative and inviting atmosphere. AWM, in collaboration with IPDA, CR Commercial Property Group, and Wool+Hay, was tasked with providing a comprehensive solution, including workstations, tables, chairs, joinery, and soft seating.

Revitalising Boral’s Office Space
Boral Limited’s new Queensland corporate office presented a unique challenge in creating a contemporary workspace in the picturesque city of Milton, Brisbane, overlooking the Brisbane River. The aim was to design an open-plan office with ample shared and informal spaces, fostering a collaborative and inviting atmosphere. AWM, in collaboration with IPDA, CR Commercial Property Group, and Wool+Hay, was tasked with providing a comprehensive solution, including workstations, tables, chairs, joinery, and soft seating.

Solution for an Inviting Workspace
The workspace featured a mix of GECA Certified and Australian Made Pinnacle sit-to-stand and 60×30 fixed-height workstations. The fixed-height workstations incorporated a circular design with curved acoustic screens, crafted from Woven Image’s Green Tag Certified 12mm Echopanel, enhancing acoustic comfort. The kitchen area boasted highly detailed joinery with integrated services, supported by custom Drum+Base ends. The breakout areas were furnished with a diverse selection, including our Positano Range, Disc Base tables, and a uniquely configured Aura Light lounge, creating a modern, collaborative office environment that embraces both functionality and design aesthetics.
