50 Bridge Street, Sydney
50 Bridge Street was a world-first sustainable rebuilding project. Rather than knock down/rebuild, the original AMP building was stripped out and upcycled. It is to date one of the largest sustainable rebuilding projects of its kind. Renascent’s fitout for their client Johnson Winter Slattery comprised of 2 floors, 123 offices and the same number of workstations within the open plan area.
Challenge
Sustainability Meets Innovation
The challenge at 50 Bridge Street was to transform an existing space sustainably while creating a functional yet spacious work environment. The focus was on maximising storage without compromising the open plan area’s interior and view. Renascent collaborated with us to address this challenge. Perimeter and back-to-back Pinnacle workstations, 120-degree cluster workspaces, executive offices, and custom-built storage solutions were seamlessly integrated to ensure a spacious and efficient layout, all in line with the client’s Greenstar requirements.
