Working with Shape and Siren Design Group we tailored commercial furniture for 15 floors of this new Sydney CBD workplace. Among our favourite features is the Monument powder coat on the 1,800 fixed height and sit-to-stand Alto workstations.
Challenge
Modern, Efficient & Flexible
Government office spaces often lag in innovative design, but the goal was to create an environment that would foster collaboration and adaptability. The challenge lay in transforming separate government agencies into a cohesive and agile work environment that allowed for complete flexibility and efficiency. The project aimed to empower teams, encourage employee collaboration, and ensure maximum effectiveness while delivering the diverse needs of government, agencies, and individuals. Achieving a Five Star Green Star environmental rating was another significant challenge, emphasising the need for a sustainable and environmentally responsible design.
Solution
Dynamic & Efficient
Collaborating with Shape and Siren Design Group, we provided a workspace that met the government’s vision. Our Monument powder-coated Alto workstations, available in both fixed height and sit-to-stand configurations, introduced a touch of elegance to the workspace, enhancing its visual appeal. These workstations, in a charcoal grey finish, proved to be a significant design feature, contributing to the transformation of the government office into a dynamic and sophisticated environment. The end result was a modern, dynamic, and efficient government workplace that encouraged cohesiveness between teams, allowed for individual agency accommodation requirements to flex up and down, and contributed to achieving a Five Star Green Star environmental rating.
